Colbie Caillat – Breakthrough – August 25
Miss Caillat’s lead single “Fallin’ For You” implies that her sophomore effort won’t stray far from the laid back, lovey-dovey tunes that made her debut album a platinum-selling success, but that’s not a bad thing, as her disarming personality shines through to give the songs a sincerity where others would be saccharine.
Brand New – Daisy – September 22
If ever there was a band that deserved the title of brooding, its Brand New, and the early word from frontman, Jesse Lacey, is that the sound on this record will bring back memories of their debut, Your Favorite Weapon. However, lyrically, it looks like Daisy will continue down the path of 2006’s, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, which means they’ll be dark and brooding.
David Crowder Band – Church Music – September 22
Oh, how tongue-in-cheek to name your album Church Music when half of these songs will literally become anthems for churches across the nation?!?! Seriously though, DCB seem to wander back and forth between the brilliant (“Rescue Is Coming” from A Collision) and mundane (the majority of Remedy), but after hearing “How He Loves”, it would seem the former will fill up Church Music.
David Gray – Draw the Line – September 22
It would be easy to write off David Gray as the minstrel for the dinner party crowd, but anyone who’s really paying attention knows that he’s one of the best songwriters around today. His affections for Dylan seem to show up a bit more on each record, and like Mr. Dylan, Gray is not content to rest on his laurels. So, he disbanded his original backing band and formed a mostly new crew to bring Draw the Line to life.
Paramore – Brand New Eyes – September 29
Hayley Williams and Co. returns with a collection of songs chronicling their growing pains, both personally and collectively. Message boards lit up with glee as the band went on a mysterious “break” in early 2008, and according to Williams, a lot of questions surrounding that time will be answered on this record.
BONUS!!! 3 more albums we’re looking forward to…

Steven Curtis Chapman – Beauty Will Rise – November 3
Inspired by the tragic death of his daughter Maria, this will surely be a hallmark in Steven’s already illustrious career.

Yes, you read that right, Tom Delonge and his giant ego are releasing an album called Love on Valentine’s Day. Be afraid, be very afraid.
